We are pleased to invite you to sponsor the 11th Annual Tommy Tant Memorial Surf Classic in Flagler Beach, Florida on November 6th and 7th. The event will include amateur and professional surf contests, a food festival, concerts, live art and a silent auction. In addition, this year will feature an exciting nighttime surf event hosted by Red Bull with some of the world’s top professional surfers. Finally, Fuel TV has signed on as the ‘Official Media Sponsor’ for the third consecutive year.

This annual community-run surf festival is held in honor of Tommy Tant, one of Flagler Beach’s local surf brethren, our son and Will’s brother, who passed away in 1998 from an aortic aneurysm.

Tommy had a love and compassion for others, the community of Flagler Beach and surfing. Each year, we are humbled at the way community joins together to celebrate his life in an event that is now shared by generations of families and over 300 surfers and thousands of attendees.

We now know that Tommy’s condition was a familial aortic aneurysm that also affects both Barbara and Will. Through this discovery, Barbara recently underwent open-heart surgery which saved her life. For this reason, we would like this year’s Tommy Tant to raise awareness for heart and aneurysm conditions in hopes to spare others from preventable deaths.

All proceeds go to the Tommy Tant Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Flagler County Resource Center, providing food to children and families in need in Flagler County.
